“Everything can be taken from a person but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any set of circumstances.”— Viktor Frankl

Welcome here!

I’m Sofiya, a psychoanalytic business coach and psychologist. I believe we can change our lives by transforming how we relate to our experiences, our choices, and our stories.

Like many, I began with a dream of medicine. Then I shifted toward my passion for art to study in the USA. I even secured a place in a UX/UI master’s program - until COVID swept away those plans and I found myself pivoting into fashion styling instead. That unexpected turn reminded me that true growth often springs from adapting to life’s disruptions.

Those transitions taught me that stability is often an illusion—and that growth arises when we learn to adapt, reflect, and choose our responses. After pivoting into a style business, I realized that helping clients express their inner selves through clothing was powerful - but it only scratched the surface. That realization led me back to study.

Psychoanalytic Business & Life Coach · MA in Psychoanalysis (Hons) · Senior Lecturer & Coaching Mentor

Look ahead with confidence, look back with gratitude, look up with faith, and look around with love!

Two years ago, I began my MA in Psychoanalysis (Hons), immersing myself in the dynamics of the unconscious. At the same time, I joined the faculty as a Senior Lecturer in Coaching and Mentoring - amassing over 500 hours of practice - and designed corporate trainings for Saks Fifth Avenue and other luxury brands, applying psychoanalytic insight to leadership and culture.

Those experiences cemented my belief: true transformation happens when we combine deep inquiry with practical tools.

You might be living what looks like a dream life: successful career, supportive network, and yet something feels off. You’ve become the go-to expert at work, but inside you feel like a fraud. Negative self-talk drowns out your confidence, and the gap between how others see you and how you see yourself grows each day. You’re exhausted from playing roles, afraid to speak your truth, and unsure how to regain joy.

Together, we’ll examine the coping strategies you learned in childhood - tools that once kept you safe but now leave you stuck. We’ll shine a light on these ingrained patterns and learn how to shift them. Through targeted reflective exercises and practical strategies, you’ll quiet the inner critic, set healthy boundaries, and begin making choices that truly align with who you are today.

My aim is to help you stop people-pleasing, set healthy boundaries, and rebuild a sense of purpose - so you can make choices that feel true to you.

My approach combines:

Psychoanalytic Inquiry

We uncover the unconscious beliefs and emotional patterns that shape your decisions and relationships.

Actionable Integration
Using reflective tools and practical exercises, we turn insight into real-world growth—whether in your career, your business, or your personal life.

Committed Partnership
Real transformation requires time. My one-on-one sessions are $50 each, with a minimum six-month engagement to ensure lasting change.

Tavistock Systems Thinking
Drawing on the Tavistock tradition, we look not only at your personal dynamics but at the systems and relationships you’re embedded in: teams, organizations, family structures. This lens helps you see how group processes influence your mindset and decision-making, and gives you tools to shift those dynamics for healthier interaction.

I’ve witnessed executives rediscover purpose after burnout, entrepreneurs align their decisions with core values, and individuals heal relationships once thought irreparable. If you’re ready to navigate your own big changes and choose your attitude in any circumstance, let’s connect.

You can email me to book first session. Here you can read rules for coaching and therapy sessions.
