Dear clients, I currently have only three slots available for long-tearm coaching or therapy. You can email me to book your time slot.
Therapeutic Contract (for long-term psychotherapeutic work)
1. Session Schedule and Holidays
We agree on a fixed time slot (e.g., Wednesdays at 12:00 GMT+3), one or two sessions per week. Breaks include: New Year holidays (14 days in late December - early January), Labour Day week (first week of May), and four weeks in summer (usually August). I announce my summer break by September 1; please plan your vacations accordingly.
2. Session Duration
Each session lasts 50 minutes. This time is yours - you may arrive late without explanation (though the session will still end on time), and I cannot start early.
3. Format & Location
All sessions are online via Zoom. Please ensure you have a private, comfortable space where you can focus fully - no public places, in-transit settings, or driving.
4. Communications Between Sessions
All substantive questions are discussed in session. For urgent needs or requests for an extra session, please write in advance and I will do my best to accommodate.
5. Fees & Payment
Sessions are $50 each, payable in advance (first session 24 hours before; subsequent sessions either same day or monthly). Missed sessions are billed unless canceled in line with section 6, except during my scheduled holidays. Fees increase annually (usually by 10%); you will receive one month’s notice. Electronic receipts are provided.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
You may reschedule without fee for force majeure (e.g., hospitalization) if you notify me at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, sessions are billed in full.
7. Confidentiality
All information is strictly confidential. Supervisory discussions occur in de-identified form only. Exceptions apply only when required by law.
8. Dual Relationships
Therapeutic relationships cannot overlap with friendships, family ties, professional collaborations, or teaching relationships. I cannot treat your family members, close friends, or colleagues.
9. Substance Use
Therapy requires full presence - sessions cannot occur under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or non-prescribed psychoactive substances. Prescribed medications are exceptions.
10. Liability & Scope
I do not work with active addictions; if you experience suicidal thoughts, you must seek concurrent psychiatric support. My coaching is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment.
11. Termination & Completion
To end therapy, we schedule at least three closure sessions to discuss progress, feelings, and next steps.
FAQ
How long can coaching last?
A: Duration depends on your goals. Simple issues may be resolved in 1–5 sessions (e.g., improving sleep). More involved challenges often require 20–30 weekly sessions, and deeper work on childhood patterns or trauma can span 2–3 years of regular meetings.
Whom do you not work with?
A: I do not work with active substance or behavioral addictions, and I do not treat severe psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia. Clients experiencing suicidal thoughts should seek concurrent psychiatric and crisis support.
What is your cancellation policy?
Sessions canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice for force majeure (e.g., hospitalization) can be rescheduled without fee. All other late cancellations are billed in full.
What methods do you use in your practice?
My work blends classical psychoanalytic techniques with systems thinking. Key methods include: free associations, transference exploration, dream analysis (when relevant) and Tavistock Systems Analysis.
What issues do clients typically bring to sessions?
A: Clients seek support with a range of challenges, including career transitions and leadership dilemmas, overcoming imposter syndrome, managing burnout and stress, improving decision‑making, resolving relationship patterns, and navigating major life changes. Whether you’re searching for clarity in business strategy or personal fulfillment, our work together will address the root causes and equip you with effective, sustainable tools.
